Who we are and how we came to be!
Dane Rahlmeyer, Founder
Growing up with a huge bookcase in his parents' house, Saturday morning cartoons, Donald Duck comics, and video games like Shining Force and Landstalker, Dane discovered his love for fantastical stories as a kid, and was writing them down before he even knew the whole alphabet.
Today, he writes novels, radio plays, comics, game books, and video games as a full-time writer. His heroes include (in no particular order): Frank Herbert, Alan Moore, Yuji Horii, Michael Ende, Philip Reeve, Ursula K. LeGuin, Jim Henson, Hironobu Sakaguchi, Brian Froud, and Jim Henson.
Funky Goblin is his dream of a DIY media empire, where he writes stories and brings them to life with the help of great artists.
